Appointment Duration
Initial physiotherapy appointments are 60 minutes. Follow-up sessions range from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your treatment needs.

Dani has a background working in marketing, events and communications. She has been a part of the New Ability Health family for years as an Administration Assistant, Physiotherapy Aide, and now she joins our team as a registered Physiotherapist. Dani completed her final year of training in Port Macquarie where she gained experience working with clients of all ages with complex neurological conditions. She has also helped individuals on their journey to resolve a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, and worked in a range of hospital settings (orthopaedic, rehabilitation, general medicine, on COU and ICU wards). She is passionate about helping others, providing next-level client-centred care, and about continuously working to improve her knowledge and skillset. She also works as a Physiotherapist at the Lake Macquarie Private Hospital on weekends.
Dani works at New Ability Health from Tuesday - Friday each week, and supports patients with sessions in the home, community or via telehealth. To book an appointment call or email reception@newabilityhealth.com.au.

Katie is an experienced physiotherapist who works with adults, teenagers, and children across a wide range of conditions including chronic pain, neurological disorders, joint hypermobility, arthritis, upper and lower limb disabilities, gross motor delays, and balance and coordination challenges.
She has worked in diverse settings such as aged care facilities, private practice, and the community. Her experience includes falls prevention, pain management, rehabilitation, mobility prescription, and staff manual handling training. Katie also supports clients with complex physical and mental disabilities.
Katie has a special interest in connective tissue disorders, particularly Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD), and is passionate about pain science. She provides evidence-based, active treatments to help patients better understand and manage chronic pain, aiming to empower them to reach their full potential.

Fees
Fees for therapy, assessments, and reports vary. Payment can be made via cash, direct deposit, credit, or debit card. For pricing please contact our reception team on 02 4926 9813 or reception@newabilityhealth.com.au.
Medicare Rebates
Eligible patients with a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) or Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan may receive a Medicare rebate for up to five sessions per year. A gap fee applies. Rebates can be processed on the day. Please consult your GP for eligibility.
Private Health Insurance
Rebates may be available through your health fund. Please check with your insurer for physiotherapy coverage.
NDIS
We are a registered NDIS provider. Referrals can be sent to reception@newabilityhealth.com.au.
