Fees and Rebates - Dietetics

Fees

Initial consultation: $120

Routine appointment: $90 per 1/2 hour duration.

For your convenience we can accept cash, credit card or debit card payments.

Medicare Rebates

If you have a chronic medical condition that has been (or is likely to be) present for six months or longer (Eg, cardiovascular disease, diabetes) you may be entitled to receive a medicare rebate for a maximum of five sessions per calendar year under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan.

As of July 2022, clients with a CDM plan may be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate of $56.00 after their dietetics appointment.

If you have a GP referral and a team care arrangement you will be entitled to a medicare rebate which covers a portion of the appointment fee, although you will still be required to pay a ‘gap’ fee. Your rebate can be deposited directly back into your bank account immediately following payment of your appointment fee.

Please contact your GP to discuss eligibility and to arrange a CDM plan.

Private Health Insurance

Our staff are registered with most major health funds. Many private health funds offer rebates for physiotherapy services. Please check with your private health insurance provider to see if you are eligible to claim for physiotherapy services.
